From May 24th to May 27th ATP Engineering & Packaging and IMA llapak will be holding a unique Open House Event at ATP’s headquarters in Barberà del Vallès, Barcelona. In the event we will showcase a range of innovative packaging solutions and sustainable packaging materials for food and non-food sectors.

Robotic Picking Line
ATP’s robotic picking line has been designed to increase packaging efficiency in the food industry. Built from stainless steel, this modular system consists of 8 pick-and-place high speed Delta robots that take the products from the infeed conveyor and fills the corresponding blisters/trays arriving on both sides of the line. Thanks to the state-of-the-art vision system, products are recognised with a high level of precision and accuracy. The line is capable of handling products of different sizes and shapes at speeds of up to 620 biscuits per minute, depending on the product characteristics.
Accessible, clean and compact design that can be easily integrated in further packaging machines, like horizontal flow wrap machines.
Delta 3000
IMA Ilapak’s Delta 3000 is a PC controlled flow wrapping machine equipped with long-dwell jaws for modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) to cover the widest range of applications and includes the IMA Ilapak’s unique high-speed hermetic sealing technologies which can also perfectly handle the new generation sustainable films.
Its heavy duty and reliable design allows to the Delta 3000 to be integrated in automatic packaging systems and during Open House, it will be combined with ATP’s robotic picking solution. The result will be a complete packaging line running products on trays with paper-based wrapping material.
Delta EZ
Responding to the budget and performance demands of mid-sized bakeries, the Delta EZ flow wrapper combines an affordable price tag with the ability to produce hermetically sealed extended shelf-life packs at speeds of up to 100ppm.
Machine equipped with multi-belt infeed to enable automatic phasing of individual tortillas or flatbreads into the adjustable folding box that accommodates products ranging in diameter from 152,4mm (6”) up to 355,6mm (14”).
